Home on the Plains: April 17-22 @AUAthletics Home Events Featuring @AUTigerBaseball & @AuburnTigersSB

Its the second to last week of classes on the plains and our student athletes will be busy in the classroom as well as on the playing field.  There are lots of events this week with free admission, including the baseball game on Wednesday.  If you havent made it out to support the Tigers in a while, you have some great opportunities in the coming days.  War Eagle! 

Tuesday, April 17th 

Baseball vs. Troy, Plainsman Park, 6:00 PM

This will be your first chance this week to join us on the parking deck for some Auburn baseball.  If watching free from the parking deck isnt your thing, it is two for Tuesday so tickets are buy one, get one free at the box office.  This will also be $1 hotdog night at Plainsman park so dig between those couch cushions and bring your appetite.

Wednesday, April 18th

Baseball vs. Alabama A&M, Plainsman Park, 6:00 PM

If you dont get enough baseball on Tuesday, be sure to come right back on Wednesday.  It is fan appreciation night which means admission is FREE.  Dont miss out on free baseball as Auburn hosts a rare Wednesday night game.

Friday, April 20th

Baseball vs. South Carolina, Plainsman Park, 6:00 PM

This is an All Auburn, All Orange event so come dressed appropriately.  The first 1,000 fans in attendance will receive a team pennant, courtesy of Kinnucans.  As always, it will be Foursquare Friday at the park so be sure to check in via your phone for your chance to win a prize.

Softball vs. Arkansas, Jane B. Moore Field, 6:00 PM

The baseball team isnt the only team with a SEC opponent coming to down this weekend.  Auburn Softball will be hosting Arkansas on 80s night at Jane B. Moore Field.  The first 100 fans in attendance will receive a pair of sunglasses.  Admission is free.

Saturday, April 21st

Softball vs. Arkansas, Jane B. Moore Field, 1:00 PM

Following the game will be a homerun derby featuring local celebrities to raise money for the National MS Society.  Come on out to support the Tigers and a great cause.  Admission is free.

Baseball vs. South Carolina, Plainsman Park, 3:00 PM

The first 500 fans through the gates will receive plastic tumblers, courtesy of Verizon.  Lots of the College & Magnolia staff plans on taking in this game from the parking deck so be sure to stop by and say hello.

Sunday, April 22nd

Baseball vs. South Carolina, Plainsman Park, 1:00 PM

The first 1,000 fans in attendance will get baseball stress balls.  Anyone who has kept up with the team recently should be very thankful for this.  It will be family day at the park, so anyone who orders tickets online can use the promo code FAMILY to get one ticket free with the purchase of three.  Following the game, fans 12 and under can run the bases.

Softball vs. Arkansas, Jane B. Moore Field, 1:00 PM

The softball team will host an Earth Day celebration as they hope to defeat the razorbacks.  Admission is free.

 

Home on the Plains : March 20th - 25th @AUAthletics Events in Auburn

Spring Break is over but there are plenty of events in Auburn to take a break at this week.  Come check out the Tigers in baseball, softball, tennis, and even soccer.  War Eagle! 

Tuesday, March 20th

Baseball vs. South Alabama, Plainsman Park, 6:00 PM

HOT DOGS ARE ONLY $1.  That should be enough to pack the park, right?  If not, it is also Two for Tuesday which means tickets are buy one, get one free.

Friday, March 23rd

Womens Tennis vs. Kentucky, Yarbrough Tennis Center, 12:00 PM  

Youve got to get down to the Yarbrough Tennis Center on Friday.  The first 75 fans are getting free AU Rally Towels that can be used to wipe sweat during this unusually hot week.  There will also be a trivia contest to win an Auburn Visor.  As always, its a party at the tennis center, which means FREE pizza at intermission.

Baseball vs. LSU, Plainsman Park, 6:00 PM  

Its Foursquare Friday at Plainsman Park so be sure to check in for a chance to win a prize.  This game will also serve as beach night, so everyone who didnt make it town to Florida for Spring Break can get tropical right here in Auburn.  Logan Square Apartments will be providing the first 500 Auburn students with something called Frat Tanks.  We might not know what that means

Softball vs. Kentucky, Jane B. Moore Field, 6:00 PM 

Jane B. Moore Field will host military night as the Tigers take on the Wildcats of Kentucky.  Come out to hear some Lee Greenwood and Toby Keith songs while thanking the troops for all they do.

Saturday, March 24th

Soccer vs. Columbus State University, Auburn Soccer Complex, 1:00 PM

Columbus will be making the forty minute drive to Auburn and most likely traveling strong, so be sure to check out our womens soccer team for their first home exhibition game of the spring on Saturday.  If the rain stays away, it will be a lovely afternoon on the pitch.

Softball vs. Kentucky, Jane B. Moore Field, 1:00 PM

Auburn continues its series against Kentucky on Saturday.  As always, admission is free.

Baseball vs. LSU, Plainsman Park, 3:00 PM

The first 500 fans to the park will be getting free Auburn mini bats.  Be sure to get in line early so you dont miss out.

Sunday, March 25th

Baseball vs. LSU, Plainsman Park, 1:00 PM

Another Sunday at Plainsman Park means another family day at Plainsman Park.  Fans can get a free ticket if they purchase three and use the code FAMILY on the Auburn website.  Following the game, kids 12 and under can run the bases just like the Tigers.

Softball vs. Kentucky, Jane B. Moore Field, 1:00 PM

This will serve as the annual Bark at the Park game.  Bring your dogs out so they can enjoy an Auburn sporting event live.

 

 

Home on the Plains: January 30th - February 2nd Athletic Events in Auburn

Welcome to another exciting edition of Home on the Plains. There are only three chances to catch the Tigers on the plains this week so plan accordingly. War Eagle!

Monday, January 30th

Men's Tennis vs. North Carolina, Yarbrough Tennis Center, 12 PM

If all of the Australian Open coverage this weekend didn't fulfill your tennis appetite, come enjoy a nooner at the Yarbrough Tennis Center as the Auburn Men's team takes on the Tar Heels of Tennis.

Wednesday, February 1st

Men's Basketball vs. Georgia, Auburn Arena, 7 PM

Come unwind from signing day at the Auburn Arena. This is an All Auburn, All Orange event and the first 3,000 fans in attendance will recieve Coke Zero t-shirts.  If you aren't one of the first 3,000 fans, just be one of the loudest and you could catch a shirt during the Kinnucan's t-shirt toss.  Coach Chizik and the football team will be presented with the Chick-fil-a Bowl trophy at halftime. Chick-fil-a will also be sponsoring a parachute drop during this game.

Thursday, February 2nd

Women's Basketball vs. Vanderbilt, Auburn Arena, 6 PM

It's daddy/daughter date night at the Auburn Arena which means father's can get 2-for-1 ticket deals for this game. Local charities will be in attendance collecting cellphones, eye glasses and books. If for some reason you left the arena without a t-shirt on Wednesday, there will be another Kinnucan's t-shirt toss. The Tiger Paws will perform a dazzling dance number at halftime and Chick-fil-a parachutes will once again rain down from the rafters.
